ครั้งแรกที่ได้ฟังเพลงนี้ คือตอนที่ Alanis ทำ MTV UNPLUG ก็นานแล้วแหละ แต่จำชื่อเพลงนี้ได้แม่น เพราะตอนนั้น รู้สึกว่าจะทุกข์อะไรบางอย่างอยู่ด้วย พอฟังท่อนที่ว่า

"But It's my destiney to be the King of pain" ซึ่งแปลตรงตัวได้ว่า "คงเป็นชะตาชีวิต ที่ต้องเป็นราชาแห่งความทุกข์ " น้ำตามันก็ไหลออกมาเอง

แต่พออ่านเนื้อเพลงทั้งหมด มันไม่ได้เศร้าขนาดนั้นนะ มันออกจะแปลว่า ราชาแห่งความทุกจ์ ยังมีอะไร อยู่รอบ ๆ ตัว ที่น่าสนใจอีกตั้งเยอะ ถ้าฟังแล้ว ก็ลองอ่านเนื้อเพลงตามไปด้วยแล้วกัน เพลงนี้ออกจะเก่า แต่ก็เพราะนะ เดี๋ยวนี้ ไม่ค่อยเจอใครแต่งเพลงเปรียบเปรยอะไร ได้เพราะ และคล้องจอง ขนาดนี้แล้วแหละ
